ASTM-F963 - 07 美国玩具安全测试标准 更新要点

4.5  Sound-producing toys 产生声音的玩具
一)更新要求,使其和EN71-1以及将要更新的ISO8124-1达成一致.

二) 范围
包括:   
Toys designed to produce sound 打算发声的玩具
Examples of toys specifically designed to produce sound   特定设计上打算发声的玩具例子:

1) Electronic toys that play music or sound effects    播放音乐或声音效果的电子玩具
A)Toy cell phone that beeps      嘟嘟响的玩具电话
B)Toy car with a siren          带有警报器的玩具车

2) Talking plush toys and dolls   说话的毛绒玩具和娃娃
3) Caps     玩具帽

不包括:
−        mouth actuated toys   口动玩具
−        toys dependent on muscular action of the child  依靠儿童肌肉力量大小发声的玩具
−        radios, CD/tape players, and headphones  收音机, CD机/磁带机, 和耳机
−        squeeze toys  压玩具

Examples of toys not specifically designed to emit sound     特定不打算发声的玩具例子:

–Rolling toys where the wheels make sound by contacting other surfaces  
     轮子接触其它表面发出声音的滚动玩具
A)R/C vehicles, track sets, pull toys     遥控车,轨道车,拖拉玩具
–  Sounds from motors, gears, and clutches of motorized toys  
     由机动玩具的马达,齿轮箱,和离合器发出的声音
–  Other toys -> doors opening/closing, projectiles launching, balls or blocks falling in shape sorters, etc. 
 其它玩具->门的开合声,弹射物发射声,球或块落入形状积木的声音,等等.

三)Measurement distance increased to 50 cm      
测量距离增加到 50 cm

四)要求This requires
the existing decibel level requirements to be adjusted to the new 50 cm measurement distance .
由现有的分贝水平要求调整到新的50 cm  测量距离的要求

五)测试方法

8.20 Tests for Toys which Produce Noise 发声玩具的测试

–Measurement distance changed to 50 cm  测量距离改变为 50 cm

–Measurement box used to position microphone on most toys instead of directly in front of sound  source  
使用测量盒设置麦克风的位置,来代替直接放在声源前方

–Both changes increase alignment with EN71-1   改变或增加都与EN71-1一致
Notable differences to EN71-1  与EN71-1的显著差别

4.12  Packaging Film  包装薄膜
Perforations now allowed as an alternative to minimum thickness 
现在允许打孔作为最小厚度的另一个选择

Alternatively, sheeting with an average thickness of less than 0.00150 in. (0.03810 mm) shall be perforated with defined holes so that a minimum of 1 % of the area has been removed over any area of 1.18 x1.18 in. (30 x 30 mm).
平均厚度小于0.00150英寸(0.03810毫米)的薄膜应打孔,使得在任意1.18英寸x1.18英寸(30毫米x30毫  米)的面积上打有占总面积1%的孔.
